The Birdcage Cafe is an exciting new community cafe created by the ASCEND Day Program, coming soon to 165 W Hospitality Lane. More than just a place to grab coffee, the Birdcage Cafe is a hands-on learning space where adults with disabilities build real-world job skills in a welcoming, supportive environment.

At our cafe, ASCEND participants will gain experience in customer service, food and beverage preparation, teamwork, and workplace communication—all while serving the local community. Every drink poured and every interaction is part of meaningful skill-building that supports confidence, independence, and employment readiness.
